The Center for Vision & Values: “World War I and the Shaping of the Modern World.”

Sunday, November 11 — Veteran’s Day — marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. This terrible war, which, at that point, had been the deadliest in history, was to be “the war to end all wars.” It was to be the war to “make the world safe for democracy.” It was a war that gave us the modern world, for better and worse.
