upreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg presided over a gay wedding Sunday — one month before the High Court is expected to issue its ruling on gay "marriage."

Ginsburg hinted at the way she would vote by sealing the so-called marriage "by the powers vested in me by the Constitution of the United States."

This makes the third gay wedding Ginsburg has officiated, and this fact, along with pro-gay marriage comments she's made in the past, are leading more critics to call for her recusal in the gay marriage case currently under review at the Supreme Court.

Federal law requires that a judge must recuse himself from a case where "his impartiality might reasonably be questioned."

The case is a consolidation of challenges to various state laws banning same-sex marriage, and was argued last month before the High Court by lesbian attorney Mary Bonauto, who is civilly married to her female partner. The gay icon has spent most of her career fighting for greater legal rights for homosexuals, and has been credited with opening wide the doors for so-called gay marriage in the states.
